Before you begin
Enter Ihram before crossing the Miqat, make the intention, and begin the Talbiyah.
Tawaf
Circle the Ka'bah seven times, starting and ending at the Black Stone. Recite "Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah..." (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:201) between the Yemeni corner and the Black Stone.
Sa'i
Walk seven times between Safa and Marwah, remembering the struggle of Hajar (RA).
Halq or Taqsir
Men shave or trim their hair; women trim a fingertip's length. This completes Umrah.
