Prophet stories

Short, true stories from the Qur'an, with a little lesson at the end.

🚢 Prophet Nuh and the big ark

Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him) told his people for a very long time to worship Allah alone, but most of them would not listen. Allah told him to build a great ark. The believers and a pair of every animal went inside. Then the rain poured and the water rose, and Allah saved everyone in the ark.

Lesson: be patient, and obey Allah — He always takes care of the believers.

🌊 Prophet Musa and the sea

Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) led his people away from the bad king, and they reached the sea. Allah told him to strike the water with his staff, and the sea split into dry paths. They walked safely across, and the water closed behind them.

Lesson: when things look impossible, trust Allah — He can make a way.

🐋 Prophet Yunus and the whale

Prophet Yunus (peace be upon him) left his people, and a huge fish swallowed him. In the dark he called out: "There is no god but You; glory be to You; I was among the wrongdoers." Allah forgave him and the fish let him go.

Lesson: always turn back to Allah — He is the Most Forgiving.

🔥 Prophet Ibrahim and the fire

Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) told his people to worship Allah alone and to leave their idols. They were angry and threw him into a big fire. But Allah made the fire cool and safe, and Ibrahim was not hurt at all.

Lesson: stand up for the truth, and Allah will protect you.

🐜 Prophet Sulayman and the ant

Allah gave Prophet Sulayman (peace be upon him) the amazing gift of understanding the language of animals. One day he heard a little ant warning the others to hurry into their home so they would not be stepped on. He smiled and thanked Allah for his blessings.

Lesson: be kind and gentle — even to the smallest creatures.

💛 Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and a kind heart

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was the kindest of people. He was gentle with children, caring with animals, and patient even with those who were rude to him. He taught us to smile, to share, and to speak kindly.

Lesson: try to be kind like the Prophet ﷺ every single day.
