The Prophet ﷺ said: "The best of you are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it" (Sahih al-Bukhari 5027). Reading the Qur'an daily transforms the heart — the challenge is consistency. Here is how to read the Qur'an daily without burning out.

Start smaller than you think

Consistency beats volume. Commit to just one page a day, at a fixed time after a prayer, and grow from there.

Pick a realistic portion

  • One page after each of the five prayers adds up quickly over a month.
  • To finish a full khatm in Ramadan, a common plan is one juz' a day.
  • Track your progress with our Ramadan & Qur'an planner.

Make it meaningful

Read a little with meaning and try to act on one verse a day. Reflection is why the Qur'an was revealed: "a Book which We have sent down to you, full of blessings, that they may ponder over its verses" (Surah Sad 38:29).

Remove the obstacles

  • Keep a mushaf (or a Qur'an app) easy to reach.
  • Attach the habit to an existing one, like right after Fajr — see prayer times.
  • If you miss a day, do not abandon the habit — just resume the next day.

Add listening and memorisation
